Death Note

01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
Ha ha ha oh man. I was using pictures of Light for a PB for an older Enzan I use to RP. The pictures intrigued me and when I was at the bookstore, I decided to get the first manga to see what the series itself was about. I rationalized that if I didn't like it. . .I would have something I could get more pics from. Of course, I loved it.

02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
I'm not touching this fandom with a 30ft pole. Though as a fan itself, I have moved on. I didn't even get that extra manga that came out and I haven't seen the second movie.

03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
Volume 7 when Light's memories return to him and we see the flash back of how he formulated his plan. That was awesome. And yes, L's death. I did like L, but I knew early on that if this manga was truly great, L would be killed by "Kira" at some point.

04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
No no no no no. I would participate in discussions with a few close friends.

05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?
Pffft. All I got to say is the one thing I like about fandom is I missed it. Fandom didn't seem to explode until after the manga series was completed and I had already read through it by then. I took one look at fandom at that point and realized, "They are wacked!" and stayed away. BUT IF YOU WANT TO JOIN FANDOM. . .be my guest. You are much braver than I.

Megaman ( All )

01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
Got into an argument with my ex-boyfriend over which is a better game. Megaman or Final Fantasy Tactics. I thought Megaman was stupid and didn't see the appeal. He forced me to play Megaman X4 and I still didn't see the appeal. . .but after I went home I couldn't stop thinking about it. I borrowed the game. He told me to play as X, but I couldn't get anywhere with X, so I tried Zero and fell in love.

02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
Fandom is kind of still, but there are still a few active fans out there. I might not be active at the moment, but I think it is something I will keep coming back to. I already have a few ideas for fanarts. The Megaman franchise has had a big impact on my life so I can't just forget about it. I don't think I can get into the newer stuff, though. Holding on to X with a death grip.

03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
My favorite videogame is Megaman X7. I feel pretty alone in this. Seems like a lot of fans dislike that one. Ha ha ha. It's not perfect, granted. I also really like Megaman Legends 2. *Ducks* It is just super fun to play. . .even if the story is a bit wacked.

04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
I do fanarts. I use to do a lot of fanart for Classic, but have moved on to X and EXE. I've cosplayed Enzan and Meijin before too. I would like to cosplay Axl someday.

05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?
Oh yes, definitely! I mean, there are so many games to try and play and love.

Tales of Abyss

01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
I kept seeing people talk about it on my FList. Ha ha ha. I love Tales of Destiny and one of my favorite artists did the art for ToA that when I happened to see it at Wal*Mart for like $10, I bought it.

02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
I'm not really involved in fandom. I am "late the the party" you could say.

03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
I haven't watched the anime, except for one or two episodes. I'm just playing the game. ANYTHING WITH JADE IS MY FAVORITE PART.

04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
Nope. Ha ha ha.

05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?
YES! It is a very fun game. :3

Phoenix Wright

01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
Ha ha ha. So I finally got a shiny new DS and my first game was Tactics Advanced. I needed a new game and well, was trying to decide between Phoenix Wright and Trauma Center. I kept hearing good things about both. How did I pick Phoenix Wright over Trauma Center? I kept asking myself, "How the hell do you have a game about lawyers???" and bought it to find out. I'm awesome when it comes to deciding what games to buy. . .you know it!

02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
I don't see myself leaving anytime soon. Especially with the super awesome Prosecutor Edgeworth getting his own game in February!!!

03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
Ace Attorney: Investigations. Oh, you mean I can't pick a game that hasn't come out yet? Fiiiiine. The first one as I heart Prosecutor Edgeworth like woah ( Even while he PISSES ME OFF when I am actually playing the game. I've said "Damnit, Edgeworth!" so many times. ).

04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
I WANT TO COSPLAY~ ♥ Ha ha ha. I actually did sketch out a comic a long time ago. I never posted it online. *Gasp!* It was a scene between Edgeworth, Phoenix, and Ema. But otherwise, no. I just sit and fangirl to anyone who will listen to meeeee.

05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?
Definitely! It is such a fun and amusing story. But everyone I try to get to play gets bored. Which, I understand. It's not your typical video game. . .it's like, an interactive story. A story that's "wacked" as Wocky Kitaki would say. ♥

Oh! My Goddess

01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
Fond memories here. My dad had always tried to encourage reading through the use of comic books. He use to get my Sonic the Hedgehog when I was little. When I was in High School, he came back to me saying he found a really cool comic book store that had "really big comics" and these really big comics looked like Sailor Moon and DBZ which I was into. So he took me there and the comic book guy asked "What do you like?" I told him I like fantasy and things with angels and stuff. . .that's when he pulled out several mangas of Oh! My Goddess. I picked a random one ( not knowing there was an order. ) and we went home. Along the way my dad said he would buy me a manga every payday ( twice a month ). So eventually I got everything up to current and stayed up on it ever since.

02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
As long as they keep coming out with volumes I will keep buying. I love this series and story so much.

03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
I don't know what volume it is, but the arc with Lind and her two angels is my favorite. It's kind of recent. Around 25 and 26 I think. It was exciting and I enjoyed learning more about Lind.

04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
Amazingly, no. Mainly because I haven't found a fandom. Seems like fans are quiet. There are a few crazy people, but because it seems other fans are quiet or more to themselves. . .the crazies are easily ignored. A secret I have, I have a hard time drawing fanart for certain series. Sometimes when I fall in love with the characters. . .it includes how they are drawn and so I want to mimic the art style. If I am unable to, I don't draw it or at least, I don't share it. Oh! My Goddess is one of these. I am very intimidated by Kosuke Fujishima. Bet you can't guess another series that does this to me. X3;;

05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?
I would love it if more people I knew got into the series.

Loveless

01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
I love Yun Kouga's art. ( Which I admit, is not perfect. But there are some pictures that blow my mind away. ) I kept picking up Lovelvess at the store, but putting it back. I wanted to read it simply for the art, but the negative image it had kept scaring me away. Finally, I decided to buy the first volume anyway to see for myself. I fell deeply in love with the story it told.

02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
I'm not involved in fandom. I have trouble finding people to chat with. I tried, but it seems like they vanish, get distracted by shiny, or I dunno. Fall off the face of the earth? The people who are left are just in it for the slash.

03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
I'm not sure. I love the battle with the female Zeros. Don't know what volume that is in. I love the manga series a lot. To me, the anime does not exist.

04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
I've written fanfic once. It's hidden on my LJ ( and actually not done. It's like. . .a paragraph or two from being finished ha ha ha. ) Yun Kouga is another artist I am intimidated by and will probably never draw fanart for. Imagine, if the Gundam 00 anime actually looked like Yun Kouga's style. . .I probably would have never drawn fanart for it. Ha ha ha. ( And this isn't the "Bet you can't guess. . ." mention in the Oh! My Goddess section. There's still one other. :3 )

05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?
No. LOL. It's MINE. MINE I SAY. Well. Okay. I would like someone to discuss things with.

Sorry to spam your FLists. But I got an email at work with some lolCats I hadn't seen before and two just make me laugh for realz and had to share with you all.

This morning got off to a shaky start. I was being lazy, completely forgetting I need to go to battle with my hair. I think it was about 15 minutes before I had to leave that it hit me and I still hadn't gotten dressed. ( I'm such a slacker. ) I really don't like my hair in it's natural state and while I don't always need to straighten it. . .today was a must. I got it done, threw on my jacket, packed my bag, and ran. Forgot my phone, but, oh well. At least my hair is straight. Ish. It's presentable. That's all that matters.

It's obvious who my favorite Gundam Meister is when on a mission to make 60 icons ( 20 of each Meister ), after two episodes I have 1 screencap each of Setsuna and Tieria, 4 of Lockon, and 5 of Allelujah.

I do love you, Tieria. *Wibbles* I do.

And yeah yeah, ain't it amazing? I am making an effort to do something other than Graham. I actually have an idea that I think would be cool. Maybe. ♥

Hell will freeze over when I willingly start making Patrick icons. Well. Other than when he makes cute faces on his wedding day. ~~Because how could I not icon that for myself?~~

Things are going all right.

Addicted to Apollo Justice. It just seems to move at a good pace. I know with the previous three games, sometimes at some points I was just tired and wanting to get to the next part. It wasn't like that with every case. . .I think one case per game. I'm on the 3rd case with Justice and I feel like we got to court pretty past.

Talked with someone in twitter a little bit about Investigations. I went to the site to grab her the link and got distracted and watched the trailer. I don't think I will be able to play the game like a sane normal person if I can't sit quietly through a trailer.

Thanksgiving coming up, bargh. Mom wants me to stay through Friday ( to do shopping. ) but I have no vacation left. So that won't happen. I will probably go home Wednesday night to stay through dinner Thursday and come back. Thankfully, Thanksgiving dinner is always earlier than normal. So I can chill a little before bed before work Friday.

Speaking of shopping, I need to make a list for Christmas. Seems I have a few new people to shop for this year so I actually go to do some planning.

Jumping back to Holidays, mom mentioned the idea of "not doing Christmas" this year. Instead, she wants to go to Las Vegas. Which is all fine and dandy, but. . .again. I don't have vacation time. So for me, that would mean taking a plane on Christmas Eve ( how much will THAT cost me?! ) Spend Friday and Saturday there and then take a plane home Sunday. It really doesn't sound worth it to me as much as I love Las Vegas.

So. I might get to be home alone this Christmas.

Sailor Moon

01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
Being awake super early one day and finding the show on USA when I was a very little girl in elementary school. I then made sure I was always up real early to watch until they stopped airing episodes. . .which was at the beginning of the Doom Tree saga. I never forgot that show and then in middle school, I saw someone with a cute drawing of Sailor Jupiter and she was talking to some people about the show. I had remembered it and quickly became friends with her and found out when they where airing episodes again.

02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
I moved on, but I still hold a love for the characters, the stories, and all the memories I have with my friends in middle school and later in high school. It's what got me interested in drawing anime, after all.

03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
It has been very long and I can't remember specific episodes, but my favorite movie is Sailor Moon S: The Movie. I cry and cry and cry so much in that movie for Luna and Artemis. So much.

04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
Back in the day, I use to draw for the fandom. It's what made me switch from drawing realism to drawing anime. Ha ha ha. I also did a lot of RPing. I was Sailor Mercury for a while. I also had some original senshi characters ( Who didn't in that fandom, ha! ) and was Sailor Phoenix and Sailor Zodiac.

05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?
I look at Sailor Moon as a series I think most anime fans should try watching just to say they have.

Final Fantasy

01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
My best friend, who was also a neighbor, when I was growing up got a Playstation and the new Final Fantasy VII game. She is a big Final Fantasy fan and was very excited over this. . .so I would often sit at her house and watch her play it. I was pretty drawn in and it looked like a lot of fun. Of course, when I started watching her play it, she was already pretty far. . .and it was at the part where Aries, well, dies. ( Her death obviously didn't have an impact on me. )

Then the day came when I was able to buy my playstation and I had just enough money to buy one game. I was considering Final Fantasy VII for obvious reasons, but I saw another. . .Final Fantasy Tactics. Got it, fell in love.

02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
Well. It's hard to say. From Final Fantasy VIII to Final Fantasy XI, I wasn't involved in the games because I didn't like VIII and IX. ( I then didn't bother trying XI. ) I did try the older ones that were being re-released. I don't know. It all depends on future games. FFXII got me back involved with the current games, but I don't have a PS3 and don't imagine getting one anytime soon.

03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
My favorite game is Final Fantasy Tactics. The original. I do want to play the version on PSP someday in my lifetime to see the extras. I cried so hard at the game. I love the story, I love the battle system, I love the job classes and the music. . .I just love the game in every way.

04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
Not really. I considered drawing a comic or two of FFXII, but that didn't happen. I did a little fanart of FFT. I wish fandom had been bigger for FFVII when it was first out back in the day. Or easier to connect with fandom. I had a small circle of friends online who were really into it, but. . . *Shrugs* It makes me sad and nostalgic to see the new fans of it. I can't join in because they don't know the original game and can't understand why some new things really piss me off. And trust me guys, Vincent sucked. ~~He could have been stronger.~~

05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?
I want more FFT fans. Ha ha.

RENT

01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
A bit of a painful memory as it involves my former best friend. I was visiting her in Florida and she asked me if I liked musicals. I do. ( The Music Man is my favorite. ) Asked me if I knew RENT and because I didn't, she quickly popped in her copy of the original Broadway Music on CD and played it all for me. I was hooked. When I returned home, I think it was a month or so later she told me the exciting news that it was going to be made into a movie.

02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
I'm not exactly involved in fandom, but I will always love it, yes. I can't imagine me giving up my CDs or my movie poster.

03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
I love the movie and I love the stage show. I've seen both and they both hold their own charm. But I am guessing this would be asking for my favorite song. How can I pick only one? Or only two? WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO ME?!

I love Tango: Maureen because it is so fun to sing. I also really like We're Okay from the Original Broadway Act. It's entertaining. But I think my favorite song is Will I?. I enjoy singing along to that song a lot, and it often chokes me up. Everything with the Life Support group does.

No. Though I did try drawing a comic of them once. I did some fanart before too. Mainly of Mark and Rodger.

Scrap Ema, I wanna cosplay THIS guy!

If I can pass for a 16 year old girl in reality, I can pass for a 17 year old boy, right? RIGHT?! ~~I just can't snap my fingers. *Cries* And is he really 17 there???~~

I actually haven't gotten far enough in the game to meet younger Klavier. But I like his older self! Ha ha.

Though Ema would be a lot of fun. Gah! ~~I wouldn't have to try to be in character with her as I am already an Edgeworth fangirl.~~

Too many cosplays, never enough time to do it all.

Anyway. I am enjoying Apollo Justice a ton more than I thought I would. Also, I saw somewhere that Phoenix Wright might come out on WiiWare? Might be a good excuse to get a wii. I need to play the original Phoenix Wright game again. . .or at least the case with Ema. I lent out my copy to a friend, though. ( Plus I am on a mission to finish Apollo Justice before February! )

WHAT. THE. FUCK.

Desire to punch someone is strong with me right now. PMS like fucking, woah.

I don't get cramps ( maybe once a year. ) and I get PMS even less. I don't know what the hell is wrong with my body right now. . .maybe stress? BUT I'VE HAD MY PERIOD 4 TIMES IN THE LAST 60 DAYS AND I STARTED MY PERIOD AGAIN TODAY WHEN IT'S ONLY BEEN A WEEK.

All the times it's just been "Oh, whatever." But I guess this is why I have been really depressed lately. And today, TODAY.

MY BACK HURTS SO MUCH. It's that pain where you feel like you can't get it straight and it hurts. IT HURTS. ARGH. AND I WANT TO HIT THINGS ALL OF A SUDDEN. I DON'T KNOW WHERE THIS CAME FROM.

What is your LiveJournal username? How did you come up with it?
anibunny. The nick name came from the days of high-school. I entertained myself by drawing a cartoon rabbit everywhere, including all over the whiteboard in art class. One day someone asked what I called it, I froze up, and then just said "Anibunny" for Anime-bunny.

Have you renamed before? If so, what were your old names? If you haven't renamed, what names would you want to rename to?
Not on this journal, no. I don't want to. I am the Anibunny.

How much does your userinfo say about you?
It says I am a fan of Graham! I try to put a decent amount of information on it for people. The basics, and describe what types of entries you will see here, where else you can find me, and then interests in fandom. I use to have a brief history of myself on there, but I took that out to shorten up my profile.

How long have you been on LiveJournal?
Eight years, last month. October 10th, 2001. Man. Feels like I've been here longer.

What is the longest amount of time you've gone without posting?
A week. Usually due to vacation.

I know I post about 3 or 4 on average a day. Doing the math, it says 2. But in the beginning of LJ, I didn't post that often. I know on average now it is 3 or 4.

What are your posts normally about?
I mostly talk about my job. Sometimes random babel, but really. My job. Oh, and problems about my mother.

Is your LiveJournal friends only? Why or why not?
No, but over the last year or so, it has become more so than not. I have a mix, but as I do know that people from work know about my LJ, my dad reads my LJ once on a blue moon, and I know a couple of people who don't have LJ. . .read my LJ. So sometimes I lock it for that reason. It really depends. I'm also a fan of filters.

Does your LiveJournal have an actual title or are you merely USER @ LiveJournal?
It's "Ace Pilot" with the subtitle "I fell in love with the sky." For the longest time it was "Anibunny" and I would just change the subtitle now and then. But I recently changed both when I redid my LJ layout. Before that it was "Anibunny" with "Good served on the rocks"

How long do you see yourself staying on LiveJournal?
Until LJ implodes.

Why do you choose to add a person to your friendslist?
It can vary. I know them in real life, they seem cool, seem interesting, are an awesome artist, share similar interests, they know someone I know in real life. . .

Is your friends list an actual list of people you consider friends, or more of a reading list?
A combination of both.

How often do you read your friendslist?
I probably check it OVER 9,000 times a day. Well, okay. Maybe like, 5. 10 on the weekends.

Do you use filters when viewing your friendslist?
No. I use filters to lock specific entries from people or groups of people. However, I still have a "Work Friendly" filter I use to use when I followed someone who drew porn a lot and wouldn't use an LJ cut. They are no longer on my FList now and it seems everyone who posts porn uses a cut and labels it. Because, yes. I do check my LJ at work.

How much do you talk to people on your friendslist off of LiveJournal?
The majority I don't seem to talk to at all. I can only think of three people on my FList that I actually talk to and just about daily with them. Everyone else is a rare occasion if at all.

Do you do friends cuts? Why or why not?
Usually my "Friends cuts" are removing inactive or deleted journals. The last time I "cut" someone off my FList, it was simply because I didn't like reading the contents of their LJ. It depressed me to the point where I didn't want to check my FList. But it is their LJ and they can do whatever they want with it. It wasn't personal, though they seem to have taken it that way. I am usually good at choosing who I follow.

Do you regularly participate in friending memes? If not, how do you normally find people to friend?
No. I find people off of art sites or "A friend of a friend" you could say.

How often do you add new friends to your friendslist?
Probably once every few months.

Do they have to? I guess not. They need to at least have something I find interesting to read.

Do you mostly use icons made by yourself or by others?
I usually make them myself. It was two years ago that I finally started using a couple icons from other people.

Yes. bunnycons. I'm working to being able to post hopefully once a month. It's still under construction, but you can see some icons there now.

What fandoms are most frequently seen in your userpics?
Gundam 00 and Ouran High School Host Club.

Usually I am on a mission. . .

That's sporadic. Right now I am working on 150 new icons! :D I'm going to do a big switch out.

The ones I truly care about, I alow on my FList and wait for entries to pop-up that way. That's why I can only think of three.

I read when someone links me to something amusing or interesting. Featured? Not that I know of. I am waiting for my ED article too. Though I guess ( thankfully ) that I am not psycho enough for that.

So, it is probably my fault for watching "A Letter From Hell - Dare To Share" video. A video describing your friend going to hell because you didn't teach them about Jesus Christ. Reminded me of a Tract I once read.

Then I went on to watch "Why Don't Scientists Fear Hell" which really just made me only fascinated with fire and think back to honors chem in school.

Finally I stopped with "Why Didn't Anybody Tell Me?" which describes and experience very similar to what happened to me when I was reading on Buddhism in my high school.

I had this dream where I was stuck in this room. Like the size of a class room. Filled with tons of joyus teens and young adults who were discussing ways on how to convert people over to Christianity. I watched them practice skits and make signs and practice speeches and get all excited and make matching t-shirts ( Some red. Some blue. ) and make tracts.

I sat in the back of the room texting the following to twitter:

"Someone help me. I'm stuck in a room full of fanatical Christians."

"Help."

"I don't think they realize I'm not 'one of them'."

"The lightening bolt hasn't hit me yet. I think I would welcome one."

"Help."

I did somehow sneak out of the room eventually with three other people who were like me. We headed off to the airport to hop onto a plane. And that was my dream.

I probably shouldn't watch those types of videos before bed.

Oh my god I am dying of laughter here.

The other day things were lagging on my work computer and I was losing information and duplicating information by mistake and it wouldn't let me delete things with a pop-up saying it is assigned to something, but on the main screen it didn't show it assigned and well. . .I was really frustrated.

Making growling noises and frustrated noises and pounding my desk once and I let a swear word out. "Damnit!" It was quiet, there were people around, I didn't think much of it because. . .it's just how I am.

A moment ago a sales AE was getting frustrated and I snickered. He heard me and commented, "You know how mad you were at your computer the other day? That's me right now." I blinked, surprised he was around to hear that. You see, I am use to AEs being gone and me being alone. Then, another AE chimed in. . .

AE J: "I know! That was the first time I heard Meagan get so angry. She even said a swear word!"

I blinked even more because, well, I might not "swear like a sailor", but I am hardly shy when it comes to using that language. I stood up to look over the cubes, and "AE J" seemed amused and continued commenting on it,

AE J: "It just caught me by surprise. I thought, 'Oh no! Not our Meagan.'"

Me and "AE S" started laughing. I sat down and managed to hear her say softly to AE S. . .

"But then I thought, 'Wow, she is human.'"

Oh man! ♥ I didn't realize no one around here has heard me swear really. Awww, I'm a "good girl" at work.

Mixed feelings for elections. Question 1 on main looks like will be answered with "Yes!" meaning that same-sex marriages will not be allowed in that state. ~~For now!~~ I don't live there and I must say it is a pain in the ass to find their election results online. I also don't know how it works. . .polls or mail-ins?

Prop-4 for Spokane failed. I wasn't passionate about that issue, but I am happy with the result. I think in theory, they had a good idea. . .but what the wrote out and planned out was bad.

R-71. What I have been flooding LJ, twitter, and facebook with non-stop these past few days. I'm shocked to see Pierce County to fall to "Reject", but they do have a very low voter turnout. ( And I read somewhere that in odd number years, Republicans/Conservatives are more likely to vote than Dems/Libs. ) Even so, R-71 is passing. . .just barely. Mail-ins make me nervous. . .but King County is thankfully a mail-in ballot too and should pull in more votes approving R-71.

I have faith, but I am not claiming victory until Sam Reed signs the paperwork.

I was surprised ( and a little upset ) with seeing how some people outside of Washington view R-71.

I saw this on Newsvine. A lot of people in support of marriage equality and who live outside of Washington State are claiming that R-71 is horrible and should be rejected. That we should not settle for "Separate but Equal."

The name "Everything But Marriage" can be a little misleading. Marriage rights is not only from the state government, but from the federal government as well. This law is only for Washington state. Legally married same-sex couples in other states are still banned from benefits provided by the federal government because the federal government defines marriage as being between a man and a woman thanks to DOMA.

Also, why do they think this is a destination for gay rights in Washington state? Even the very senators and other political leaders who helped get the "Everything But Marriage" bill signed into law say that Washington's goal is to eventually reach marriage equality. This is only a step towards that. A step.

Those outside of Washington who think the "Everything But Marriage" law is hurtful to the LGBT community in Washington, don't understand how domestic partnership work and the history behind it.

Domestic partnerships are fairly new in Washington and our state government has been working to extend rights ever since then. There have been previous bills passed into law to make it more equal to marriage, it wasn't until this very last one that it got labeled "Everything But Marriage." You expect our Governor to stop and say "Well, I don't want to do any more because same-sex couples would see it as 'settling for equal but separate'."? Please! That's a bit ridiculous and there is something very important to keep in mind. . .

Domestic partnerships aren't only for same-sex couples. It is beneficial to seniors and heterosexual couples who can't remarry as they might lose their social security benefits, pension, and/or medical coverage. With a domestic partnership, they don't have to worry about that. They can still support and help their loved one.

From what I have seen, MUCH of the LGBT community and those in favor of marriage equality in Washington don't see "Everything but Marriage" as a destination for ME. It's just another step. . .a small step, but a step forward.

"Everything but Marriage" still leaves a lot to gain in terms of marriage equality.

Finally, the concept of making Domestic Partnerships and Civil Unions equal and available to same-sex couples is not a new idea. Not in any way. So people shouldn't fear that the passing of R-71 will stop any chance to reaching marriage equality.

Election Day

With today's election day being in an odd number year. . .it is often overlooked. Voter turnout is usually horrible. . .states with Gubernatorial races I suspect have a slightly better turnout. Washington with it's R-71 on domestic partnerships and Spokane's Prop 4 on setting up a "Bill of Rights" has made me sick to my stomach. It's only 10:00am and ever since stepping into work, I've felt sick and anxious.

Working here, I get to have Elections up all in my face all day. I'm honestly terrified and anxious all at the same time. I want to know the results already, but at the same time I don't. And it isn't just for Washington I am anxious about, but Maine too.

Haven't heard the likelihood of Prop 4 passing in Spokane, but it is said that R-71 might pass, but barely. A close race it will be.

Just like Prop-8 in California. . .I'll probably go batshit insane if R-71 fails here and if Question 1 passes in Maine. Just a warning. I'll LJ cut it. I promise.

I'm way more on edge about this election than I was last year's Presidential election.

LOOK AT IT! YEAH! I'm so proud of myself. YEAH!

I'm on a mission to make 150 new icons for myself. Originally I was hoping to do at least 5 from each anime/video game I enjoy and well, 30 icons later I am going "SCREW THAT!" and making whatever the hell I want. There will be 19 new Phoenix Wright icons. ♥

I've made a ton of Fringe icons actually, but they are general for my icon journal. Up to 20 Fringe icons so far, not sure how many of those I will use yet. ( I think three so far. ) I want to make icons of The Hangover movie.

But. But. LOOK AT TWITCHING KRISTOPH. Ha ha ha. It makes me so happy. ~~And I will actually have two Mr. Armando icons. ;~;~~

Bad mood is bad.

I'm really not happy. I would like to go to a corner and cry. . .after yelling "Fuck this shit!" and storming off. Right now I just feel really worthless at work. Not underpreciated, but damnit, why was I hired?! In a lot of things I do at work, I usually set a bar for myself and try to reach it. That's where I get my satisfaction. It is even better when I exceed the expectation of other people here. That's what makes me love my job. Just taking something and running with it.

There was something that a few people wanted on the website kept being put on the backburner and forgotten about it. I had a lot of free time so I thought I could sit and figure it out. I made in my project. However, I needed something from another department. A list. I knew they were reviewing this list so I thought it was perfect timing to ask for a copy. I get fucking ignored. Well you know what, fuck you. I spent two days researching and trying to figure this out ( part of the reason the web department kept pushing it aside was because it would be a lot of work and we don't need it exactly. ) all because I wanted to do something cool. You gotta help me. Not ignore me. This is the same person who seems to refuse to acknowledge that I work in this goddamn department. I'm always having my boss forward messages to me from said person because this person will send emails to everyone in the web department BUT ME and often times I'm the one who has to do it or can answer.

I got snapped at by another coworker. Maybe not snapped, but some attitude that I seriously did not deserve. I get it. You hate your job. I hate my job sometimes too ( like today. ) and you're always cynical about everything that's done here. Don't take it out on me. I don't need commentary on what you think viewers will think. I asked a simple question and I don't need you to give me an answer followed by a "It doesn't matter, no one will care" type comment immediately after. Excuse me for wanting to actually put more effort into the work I do.

I'm supposed to build a mini page for a department on the website. I need information from the department and they give me little bits and scraps. My boss asks for more and I get nothing. No help, no more information, and just ignored. It's like, fine. I get it. You want me to do the most basic of things. You don't want fancy things or actually make it look good. Who cares right?

I like to think I got hired because I can do more than the bare minimum. I'm just really pissed off and fed up right now. I can't wait to go home.

Ellensburg was good. Made it there and back all right. No snow. Weather was fine. It was great to see needed friends again, especially since it had been a while. Been so long because nothing was timing out right. Illnesses, family emergencies, vacations, moving, midterms. . .yikes.

Started playing Apollo Justice. I was dubious about this game. For many different reasons. And so far I am really liking it all. And of course the first person I have to attach myself to is Kristoph. WHY, GOD, WHY!? WHY!?

I like the new music and the updated graphics when it comes to the backgrounds and such. I'm glad the 3D evidence screen returns in this game. Perceive is interesting, my mind shot to Lie to Me and I think this will be a fun addition. Apollo was annoying me at first, but that's going away. And I do like Phoenix~ ♥

My goal for the week, is to finally unpack my apartment completely. And I need to do laundry tomorrow. Hopefully I can. I'm so confused. My floor has a TON of empty apartments, yet I swear everyday night someone is doing laundry and I know two days a week before I get to work, I hear a family doing laundry. THE HELL!? Am I EVER going to be able to do laundry??? Hopefully Monday evenings can be mine.

I love my shower, by the way. I know I've started taking slower showers because I enjoy it so much.

Thank you to everyone who left hugs, love, and support for me. Means a lot.

Because of yesterday, didn't really feel much in the ways of drawing last night and I wasn't going to force myself to. So, I am certainly not going to finish my Halloween picture before, ah, Halloween. I put up what I've done so far on my doodle blog. Halloween Sketch @ doodle_bar.

Instead I finished off Trials and Tribulations. Finally. I'm still ~~in denial~~ frustrated about Godot. Thank god Edgeworth doesn't show up in Investigations with a mask and a new lame identity, like two other characters I know. This better not be a trend for me. ~~I'm never putting masks on the faces of my characters, EVER.~~

I will say that I didn't like Maya waaay in the beginning, but she has grown on me a lot.

After yesterday, it was so very nice to wake up and find this on my FList: Gundam 00 Art Exchange Piccie.

Oh, Stephen Colbert. I think I love you. I always find it so hard to keep from LOLing for real at work when I watch his stuff. It isn't often. I am glad I stumbled upon this.

On the suck side of things, I actually didn't receive a ballot to vote this November. It would have gone to my other apartment, so yesterday when I stopped by, I was hoping to find it there. Called and they said they sent one, but are sending me a replacement to my current address. Just makes me feel anxious about getting it. November 3rd will be here shortly.

I took a peek at the Investigations game coming in February. Watched a trailer and two "previews" showing how the game runs. I'm so excited ♥ It looks like fun to play, but harder.

There have been a lot of people standing around in high traffic areas with signs that say "Protect Washington Families. Reject R-71." They also have "Honk if you Reject R-71!"

I am so glad that all the times I saw them, I heard only one car horn. And traffic was thick too. The times I went by while I wasn't driving I gave them thumbs down. I'm sure they don't care, though.

I'm not only protecting Washington families, I'm helping them by approving R-71. I know what the opponents are scared of, as this is indeed a step closer to same-sex marriages in Washington, but what actual argument do they have against this?

Discrimination, yay. There is even a big sign hanging up over the freeway saying to Reject R-71 "Because God will judge you for your sins" or something to that effect. Blah.

This subject seriously pisses me off. I really want a shirt that says "My Government Discriminates" on it. If I made one, think people will buy it? ( Though, I am happy that the reason we have R-71 is because my state's government and Christine Gregoire made an effort to extend more rights to domestic partnerships. )

I am holding strong faith that R-71 will be approved in Washington.
