Purple Birthday
My birthday was nice. I worked. Nothing special there, except I got a nice handmade card from one coworker and another bought me some Japanese candy, ramune, and a ceramic soup bowl that says Ramen on it. Also there was some Swedish Jelly Babies candy. Which is um, special. Blackcurrant is yuck.
So I have to say, I am highly amused. The last few years I got flowers sent to my work on my birthday. There was even a year when it was from my coworkers. ♥ So, it was a little sad that this year I didn't get any at work.
But! I got something better. John hand-delivered a dozen roses to my apartment. ♥ They are a pink-purple kind of color. And his gift was a purple hello kitty shirt.
Then there was lasagna, drinking, and dancing. ♥
