So, I am obviously not finishing my one fanfic for myself. BUT~! I do have my ficlet completed. ♥

Note: Story takes place during the ending of Season 2.

His situation was a cold and humiliating one being on board of the Ptolemaios II, or what Graham simply knew it to be, Celestial Being's transport ship. The room he kept to himself in was sterile and empty. Walls appeared padded, but as Graham discovered leaning up against it as he sat on the floor, it was still quite hard and even somewhat uncomfortable.

It was Billy he had to thank for this, thank for bringing him here and he wondered how long it would be until his friend would return with the good news of their departure.

He closed his eyes and it was shortly after he heard someone enter.

Graham decided it would be best to pretend he was sleeping. He wasn't in the mood to be drilled or talked to by anyone on the ship and if it was Billy, well, surely the other man would attempt to wake him up anyway.

There was only silence.

The presence of the other person drew near and stayed close. Practically looming. At this point Graham couldn't help by open his eyes and was met with the blank stare from that boy.

Setsuna.

He was crouching down next to the older man while placing an enclosed tray on the ground. It seemed he was simply drawn to these situations and the opportunity for Graham to lunge at the Gundam pilot was certainly there. As foolish and careless as that would have been, Setsuna wasn't about to put the idea past Graham.

The other man didn't move and only stared back. Setsuna quietly stood up and made his way to the other side of the room where he leaned his back up against the wall. He was carrying a second tray for himself, which he opened and shot a look at Graham before beginning to eat.

For a moment, Graham watched trying to read the other man, though there was nothing there to read. No hidden meaning. No hidden motive. But how could Graham be expected to basically share a meal with him?

Graham finally looked away and made no other move. Neither man spoke for the moment. One was just left to his thoughts and the other focused on the artificial flavor of his twice-cooked food.

When Setsuna made it about halfway through his meal, however, the silence was finally broken by a quiet and defeated voice.

"Why did you leave me alive?"

Setsuna didn't need to think it over, "Killing you would have served no purpose."

A small snicker slipped free while the corner of Graham's mouth twitched upward. He reached down and picked up his tray, bringing it to his lap and opening it. The two just finished their meals in silence.
